Deontay Wilder has launched another scathing attack on heavyweight rival Anthony Joshua after the Brit indicated that a unification showdown in 2018 was inevitable.
The WBC champion, who defends his title against Bermane Stiverne next month, had previously posted a video on Twitter last week claiming that Joshua wasn’t ‘physically, mentally or emotionally ready’ to face him despithe the 2012 Olympic gold medallist defeating legendary heavyweight Wladimir Klitschko in a classic fight at Wembley in April.
Joshua responded to Wilder’s claims by suggesting the pair could share a ring next year after his own title defence against Kubrat Pulev later this month, which the American has taken offence to.
“I guess I’ll have to son you and teach you how a champion supposed to talk – so when they hear you, they shall also feel you.
“Next time I’d rather hear how you gonna knock my ass out.”
